Since nearly all Subaru SUVs and cars come standard with all-wheel drive, the brand’s vehicles are especially well suited for local owners — who know they always need to be prepared for whatever comes next on Colorado’s roads and trails. So it’s no surprise that Subarus are some of the most in-demand used cars for sale in Denver. But what you might not expect is just how easy it can be to buy one when you shop at Carfinders Incorporated. We’re committed to providing a hassle-free experience from start to finish, highlighted by top-quality vehicles, terrific customer service, and quick pre-approvals through our 100% secure online credit application.
Pre-owned Subarus certainly have their share of unique benefits, yet they do have at least one thing in common with the rest of the used cars for sale in Denver: Nearly all of them are subject to depreciation, which means you can often save thousands of dollars simply by purchasing a pre-owned car instead of a similarly equipped new model. Buying a used Subaru instead of a new one can also help your budget by lowering your insurance premiums. This can be more important than you think, since insurance can be one of your biggest ongoing expenses for any vehicle.
Of course, the team at Carfinders knows that saving money upfront doesn’t matter if the vehicle you just bought can’t stay on the road. That’s why we carefully select only the best possible used cars and SUVs for our inventory. You don’t have to take our word for it, either. Thanks to today’s easy-to-access vehicle reports, it’s a breeze to look up important information about a car’s history, including whether or not it’s been in an accident.
As a starting point, nearly all Subaru vehicles stand out from the other used cars for sale in Denver with two key advantages. The first is Subaru’s award-winning Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive technology that’s standard even on the brand’s more affordable models. In addition, Subaru specializes in BOXER-style engines that can be envisioned as typical V-shaped engines with their cylinders pushed flat. It’s a layout that results in smoother operation for a more upscale driving experience as well as a lower center of gravity for improved handling.
CarFinders has been a local community leader for years, so we know how to keep area drivers happy with a well-chosen selection of pre-owned models that are nearly perfect for your lifestyle and budget. And as you can tell by our name, we’re at your service when it comes to finding just the right vehicle that suits your needs, even if we have to search all the used cars for sale in Denver.
Originally a small part of a huge Japanese business operation, the Subaru auto brand has seen outsized success in recent years. The story starts in 1915 with the founding of the Aircraft Research Laboratory in Japan, which eventually evolved into a company called Fuji Heavy Industries after World War II. At that point, there were separate Fuji divisions manufacturing engines, chassis, scooters, and more. So it was a natural next step to go into auto-making. The result was the Subaru brand, which used the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster and introduced its first car, the 1954 Subaru 1500.
Subaru began exporting its vehicles to the United States beginning in 1967, and the company introduced its first symmetrical all-wheel-drive system in 1972. By 1980, that AWD expertise had earned Subaru the first of many World Rally Championships. Big changes in the 1980s then included the opening of the brand's first U.S. manufacturing plant in 1989. Finally, after numerous record-setting sales years in the 2000s, Fuji Heavy Industries renamed itself Subaru in honor of its best-known products.
